Pre-season and friendlies
On 22 May, Watford announced their initial pre-season schedule, with friendlies against Reading (behind closed doors), Boreham Wood, Stevenage, Gillingham, Wycombe Wanderers and Brentford.[13] On 13 June, they added an away match against Scottish side Hibernian.[14]
