Andrzej Gajec

Andrzej Gajec (born 20 September 1939 in Waśniów, died 29 November 1997) was a Polish local government official and engineer, who served as the mayor of Stalowa Wola from 1994 until his death in 1997.[1]

He graduated from the Rzeszów University of Technology. Gajec worked as a designer at the Huta Stalowa Wola steelworks, and later at the Aviation Equipment Factory in Gorzyce. In the 1994 local elections, he was elected as a councilor representing the Social Residents' Forum. Subsequently, he was appointed as the mayor of Stalowa Wola, a position he held until his death three years later.[2][1] He was buried in the Stalowa Wola Municipal Cemetery (III/C/3).[2]
