Drivers, Illinois
Unincorporated community in Illinois, United States
38°19′50″N 88°59′35″W / 38.33056°N 88.99306°W / 38.33056; -88.99306Drivers is an unincorporated community in Jefferson County, in the U.S. state of Illinois.[1]
History
A post office was established at Drivers in 1888, and remained in operation until 1907.[2] James R. Driver, the first postmaster, gave the community his name.[3]
