Ian Wingrove (15 March 1944 – 30 December 2023) was an English-American special and visual effects artist.[1][2] He was nominated for an Academy Award in the category Best Visual Effects for the film Return to Oz.[3] Wingrove was born in the south of England on 15 March 1944,[4] and died on 30 December 2023, at the age of 79.[5][6][7]
