54°16′N 22°58′E / 54.267°N 22.967°E / 54.267; 22.967Jałowo [jaˈwɔvɔ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Rutka-Tartak, within Suwałki County, Podlaskie Voivodeship, in north-eastern Poland, close to the border with Lithuania.[1] It lies approximately 8 kilometres (5 mi) south of Rutka-Tartak, 21 km (13 mi) north of Suwałki, and 129 km (80 mi) north of the regional capital Białystok.
