Larne Town railway station serves Larne in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. The original station (known solely as "Larne" when operational) was opened on 1 October 1862, and was demolished in 1974 to make way for the current station. The suffix "Town" was then added to the name to distinguish it from the nearby Larne Harbour station.[3]
Service
Mondays to Saturdays there is an hourly service towards Larne Harbour or Belfast Lanyon Place with extra services at peak times. Some of those peak services start and terminate here rather than Larne Harbour.
On Sundays there is a service every two hours in either direction to Larne Harbour or Belfast Lanyon Place.
