Moshe Reuven Sheradsky (Hebrew: משה ראובן), known professionally as Moshe Reuven, is an American rabbi, and musician, based in New Jersey.[1]
Early life
[edit]Moshe Reuven Sheradsky was born and raised in Florida.[1] In high school, he began making music with his friends and recording early material.[2] During his last years of high school and while studying at The University of Central Florida, he became increasingly more observant,[3] delving deeply into Orthodox Judaism,[4][5] devoting time to prayer and Torah study.[6] He later received rabbinic ordination (semicha) from the Rabbinical College of America.[7][8]
Career
[edit]'You Are Not Alone'[9][10][11] marked Sheradsky's debut single in 2020.[12][13][14][15] He signed with Create Music Group in 2021.[6][16] A collaboration with Julian Marley, titled 'Say', followed in 2022,[17] which they would perform together for the first time in Miami, Florida that December.[18][19] The compilation album, Hotline Miami, vol. 3 - featuring You Are Not Alone at track #10 on the physical CD version - reached No. 22 on Billboard 's Top 25 Digital Sales Chart for Hip-Hop & R&B for the week ending July 1, 2022.[20][21][8] He attended the 66th Annual Grammy Awards in 2024.[22][23][24]
