Nitanshi Goel (born 2007) is an Indian teen actress. She has starred in various productions, including Thapki Pyar Ki (2017), Karmaphal Daata Shani, M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story (both 2016), Indu Sarkar, Inside Edge (both 2017), Posham Pa (2019), and Maidaan (2024). She received her breakout role in the comedy-drama film Laapataa Ladies (2024).[2]
Early life and family
Goel was born on 12 June 2007 in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India.[3] She grew up in a middle-class Hindu family with her father, Nitin Goel, and her mother Rashi Goel.[4] She shared that her parents sacrificed their careers to support her acting dreams.[5][6] Her father left the family business and now works at Axis Bank, while her mother quit her government job to support Nitanshi’s acting career. She has appeared in numerous TV shows and 7 movies, including “M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story” and “Laapataa Ladies.” As of 2024, Nitanshi's net worth is approximately INR 5 crore,[7] reflecting her successful career and the dedication of her supportive parents.
Career
In 2015, Goel won the title of Miss Pantaloons Junior Fashion Icon,[8] She made her Bollywood debut in 2024 with the film Laapataa Ladies, co-starring Sparsh Shrivastava, Pratibha Ranta and Ravi Kishan, which was produced by Amir Khan Production[9]
Achievements
Goel won the IMDB Breakout Star Star Meter Award for her performance in Laapataa Ladies making her the youngest recipient of this award globally.[10] She also earned a nomination for Best Actress at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne for her role in the film. In 2021,[11] she won the Iconic Gold Awards for Teen Actress of the Year.
