Santa Ana del Valle
Municipality and town in Oaxaca, Mexico
16°59′35″N 96°28′17″W / 16.99306°N 96.47139°W / 16.99306; -96.47139Santa Ana del Valle is a town and municipality in Oaxaca in south-western Mexico. The municipality covers an area of km2. It is part of the Tlacolula District in the east of the Valles Centrales Region.
As of 2005, the municipality had a total population of 1,996.[1]
The town's church is notable for its large number of fine colonial-era santos (statues of saints), many executed in polychrome and well preserved to this day.[2]
