Taylorsville is an unincorporated community in Caldwell County, in the U.S. state of Texas.[1] According to the Handbook of Texas, the community had a population of 20 in 2000. It is located within the Greater Austin metropolitan area.

Geography

Taylorsville stands along Farm to Market Road 86, 4 mi (6.4 km) northeast of McMahan in eastern Caldwell County.[2]

Education

Today the community is served by the Lockhart Independent School District.
