Tomice, Opole Voivodeship

50°19′5″N 17°50′54″E / 50.31806°N 17.84833°E / 50.31806; 17.84833Tomice [tɔˈmit͡sɛ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Głogówek, within Prudnik County, Opole Voivodeship, in south-western Poland, close to the Czech border.[1] It lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) south-west of Głogówek, 20 km (12 mi) east of Prudnik, and 40 km (25 mi) south of the regional capital Opole. Historically located in Upper Silesia, in the Prudnik Land.
