History
XHTQS was awarded by the IFT-4 in 2018 and came to air in January 2021 originally as Alternativa TX with an alternative format.
XHTQS-FM is known for being "the first green radio station in México"[2] because the main power supply for the transmitter comes from renewable energy from a photovoltaic system .
In April 8, 2024 XHTQS dropped RadioactivaTX alternative format and became Canal 98 as their new name with a Rock format.
