Az Amerikai Hanglemezgyártók Szövetsége (RIAA) rendszeresen közzéteszi az Amerikában legnagyobb példányban értékesített albumok toplistáját. Az eladási számok nem szerepelnek rajta, mivel csak egyes albumok platina minősítéseit regisztrálják. Egyszeres platina minősítés egymillió eladott példányt jelent.
