A Kalophrynus a kétéltűek (Amphibia) osztályába, valamint a békák (Anura) rendjébe és a szűkszájúbéka-félék (Microhylidae) családjába tartozó Kalophryninae alcsalád egyetlen neme.
Előfordulása
A nembe tartozó fajok Kinában, Jáva szigetén, a Fülöp-szigeteken és India Asszám államában honosak.
