Dr. Aaron Ciechanover (lahir di Haifa pada tahun 1947) ialah ilmuwan Israel. Ciechanover ialah profesor di Bagian Biokimia dan Direktur Lembaga Penelitian Ilmu Kedokteran Keluarga Rappaport di Technion (Institut Teknologi Israel) di Haifa, Israel. Ia menjadi guru besar di Technion pada 1992, dan merupakan profesor kolega di sana dari 1987 hingga 1992.
Ciechanover menyandang gelar Ph.D dan dokter. Ia belajar kedokteran di Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Ibrani di Yerusalem, menerima gelar dokter pada 1974. Antara 1974-1977, Ciechanover bertugas di Angkatan Pertahanan Israel. Antara 1977-1981, Ciechanover ialah mahasiswa sarjana dengan Avram Hershko di Technion. Ciechanover menerima gelar Doctor of Philosophy pada 1981. Antara 1982-1984, Ciechanover ialah anggota pascadoktoral di Bagian Biologi, Institut Teknologi Massachusetts, di mana ia belajar lasialoglikoprotein dan reseptor transfer di laboratorium Harvey Lodish, dan juga berkolaborasi dengan Varshavsky dan mahasiswanya Finley dalam studinya pada sel tikus ts85.
