Morningside Heights adalah sebuah permukiman di Borough Manhattan di New York City dan terkenal sebagai tempat berdirinya institusi-institusi seperti Columbia University, Teachers College, Barnard College, Manhattan School of Music, Bank Street College of Education, "Grant's Tomb", Cathedral of Saint John the Divine, Riverside Church, Union Theological Seminary in the City of New York, Jewish Theological Seminary of America, Interchurch Center dan St. Luke's Hospital.
Permukiman ini sering dijuluki "kota perguruan tinggi" di New York City, "Academic Acropolis", "Acropolis of New York", dan "Bloomingdale Village".[butuh rujukan]
