The Fiancee (bahasa Jerman: Die Verlobte) adalah sebuah film drama Jerman Timur 1980 yang disutradarai oleh Günter Reisch dan Günther Rücker dan berdasarkan pada sebuah novel karya Eva Lippold. Film tersebut berkisah tentang gerakan bawah tanah komunis Hella Lindau (Jutta Wachowiak) dan tunangannya Hermann Reimers (Regimantas Adomaitis) melawan tentara Nazi.
Film tersebut memenangkan Crystal Globe di Festival Film Internasional Karlovy Vary. Film tersebut juga terpilih sebagai perwakilan resmi Jerman Timur pada Academy Awards ke-53 untuk Film Berbahasa Asing Terbaik, tetapi tidak meraih nominasi.[1]
