Thysanura adalah nama sekarang usang dari ordo dari kelas Insecta. Nama saat ini Zygentoma dan meliputi gegat atau fishmoths, dan firebrats. Anggota ordo yang dikenal selama tiga filamen ekor panjang mereka.

Superfamili Machiloidea (familia Machilidae dan Meinertellidae), yang bristletails melompat, yang termasuk dalam Thysanura sampai akhir abad kedua puluh,^[2] tetapi kemudian dialokasikan untuk ordo mereka sendiri Archaeognatha. Para anggota yang tersisa dari Thysanura terdiri subordo Zygentoma; subordo dinaikkan menjadi status ordo penuh, demikian membuat istilah "Thysanura" redundan, meninggalkan Zygentoma sebagai nama berlaku.
