リゾビウム科（ーか、Rhizobiaceae）はPseudomonadota門アルファプロテオバクテリア綱ヒフォミクロビウム目の科の一つである。高等植物の生育を促進する細菌のサブグループを含む[1]。一部の菌種は根粒菌を形成し、なかには植物の栄養素として利用されるものもある。Agrobacterium tumefaciensとRhizobium rhizogenesはそれぞれ根頭がん腫（crown gall）と毛状根の発生を誘発させ、植物の生育を著しく変化させる[1]。本科は、植物と共生し、植物の発育を変化させる能力があることから、何世紀にもわたって科学者の関心を集めてきた[1]。Pseudomonadota門共通の特徴として、本科のメンバーは全てグラム陰性である。加えて、好気性であり、細胞は通常、桿状である[2]。本科の多くの種は、窒素固定能を持ち植物の根と共生する窒素固定菌である。
