Fikirkan kanak-kanak.

"Fikirkan kanak-kanak" (juga "Bagaimana dengan kanak-kanak?") ialah klise yang berkembang menjadi sebuah taktik retorik.[1][2][3] Dalam erti kata harfiah, ia merujuk kepada hak kanak-kanak (seperti dalam perbincangan mengenai buruh kanak -kanak).[4] [5][6] Walau bagaimanapun, dalam perbahasan, ia merupakan suatu rayuan untuk kasihan yang digunakan sebagai rayuan kepada emosi, dan oleh itu ia mungkin menjadi kesilapan logik.[1][2][3]

Art, Argument, and Advocacy (2002) berhujah bahawa rayuan menggantikan emosi dengan alasan dalam perdebatan.[1] Ahli etika Jack Marshall menulis pada tahun 2005 bahawa populariti frasa itu berpunca daripada keupayaannya untuk membantutkan kerasionalan, terutamanya wacana tentang moral.[2] "Fikirkan kanak-kanak" telah digunakan oleh penyokong penapisan untuk melindungi kanak-kanak daripada bahaya yang dirasakan.[7][8] Community, Space and Online Censorship (2009) berhujah bahawa mengklasifikasikan kanak-kanak secara kekanak-kanakan, sebagai orang yang tidak bersalah yang memerlukan perlindungan, ialah satu bentuk obsesi terhadap konsep kesucian.[7] Artikel 2011 dalam Journal for Cultural Research memerhatikan bahawa frasa itu timbul daripada panik moral.[9]

Dalam Kajian Undang-undang Universiti Negeri Georgia 2012, Charles J.
