Janet Opal Asimov (née Jeppson; 6 de agosto de 1926 – 25 de fevereiro de 2019), mais conhecida por escrito como J. O. Jeppson, foi uma escritora de ficção científica, psiquiatra e psicanalista estadunidense.

Começou a escrever ficção científica para crianças na década de 1970. Em 1973 casou com Isaac Asimov, com quem viveu até seu marido morrer em 1992, e ambos escreveram colaborativamente diversos livros de ficção científica para jovens leitores, incluindo a série Norby. Morreu em fevereiro de 2019, aos 92 anos de idade.[1][2]
